Imo State University’s administration is undertaking a road reconstruction project across the campus to enhance mobility, safety, and the overall learning environment.
The initiative focuses on major access routes that connect the university’s faculties and administrative buildings, and it forms part of a wider plan to upgrade campus infrastructure.
Students have long struggled to navigate the campus due to poor road conditions, so the refurbishment is expected to be a welcome improvement.
By improving accessibility for students, staff, and visitors, the project will also stimulate commercial activity on campus by facilitating the movement of goods and services.
Construction is proceeding in phases and will eventually provide smoother traffic flow, reduce vehicle damage, and improve access to key areas.
