Fidelis Ilechukwu has signed a new one‑year contract with Nigeria Premier Football League champions Rangers, according to DAILY POST.
The agreement settles questions about Ilechukwu’s future with the Coal City club.
The 47‑year‑old was rumored to be leaving Rangers after steering the team to their ninth NPFL title in the 2025/26 season.
DAILY POST also notes that the young tactician led the Flying Antelopes to their eighth title in the 2023/24 season.
Ilechukwu was appointed Rangers head coach in 2023, after departing from oriental rivals Heartland.
He also serves as an assistant coach for the Nigerian national team, the Super Eagles.
