Ikorodu City striker Joseph Arumala leads the group of home‑based players chosen by Super Eagles head coach Éric Chelle for the 2026 Unity Cup, DAILY POST reports.
Arumala, a former Nigeria U‑17 international, has netted 13 goals for Ikorodu City in this season’s Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).
SCORENigeria indicates that two additional Ikorodu City players will also be named in the squad.
Enugu Rangers will contribute two players, while Rivers United and Shooting Stars will each provide one.
The six selected players are already in Abuja to apply for United Kingdom entry visas.
Chelle made his selections after observing three NPFL matches in recent weeks.
The 48‑year‑old coach is expected to publish his complete list later this week.
The Super Eagles will meet the Warriors of Zimbabwe in the Unity Cup semi‑final at the Valley in London on Tuesday, May 26.
