Kelechi Iheanacho scored a last‑gasp penalty to secure a 3–2 win for Celtic over Motherwell on Wednesday night.

The match was heading for a 2–2 draw before the visitors were awarded a spot‑kick after a handball inside the box.

Elliot Watt gave Motherwell the lead against the defending champions, but Daizen Maeda equalised just before half‑time.

Early in the second half, Benjamin Nygren put the visitors ahead with a powerful strike.

Celtic responded with a goal from Liam Gordon, restoring the advantage to the title‑chasing side.

With one round of fixtures remaining, Hearts stay on top of the table with 70 points, Rangers are a point behind in second place, and Celtic sit third with 67 points.
