Former AC Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimović has disclosed that he was a more versatile and complete striker than Erling Haaland, whose game is largely one-dimensional.
Ibrahimović noted that Haaland is deadly and intelligent in the box, doing exactly what is required to score without wasting energy. In contrast, Ibrahimović described himself as much more versatile, enjoying playing with the ball at his feet.

“I’m not sure about that. He needs to do a lot more to reach the “freak of nature,” Ibrahimovic told Fox Sports.
“He scores goals and is a “killer” in the box, but I was more versatile. I enjoyed playing with the ball. He is a “killer” in the box, is intelligent and does what he needs to do, but he doesn’t do more than what he can do. He doesn’t waste energy on it.
“I saw an interview with him, where he said that his dream is to touch the ball twice and score two goals. Rather, my dream was to touch the ball twice and score three goals.”
