Achraf Hakimi was visibly pleased after Morocco secured a 4‑2 win over Haiti, according to Completesports.com.
The Atlas Lions staged two comebacks to defeat Les Grenadiers in their final group‑stage match at the FIFA World Cup 2026.
Haiti took the lead ten minutes in when Yassine Bounou’s own goal gave them a 1‑0 advantage.
It was the first World Cup goal for Morocco in 52 years, scored by Sebastien Migne.
Morocco equalised in the 39th minute when Hakimi sent the ball over the line after Johny Placide parried a shot from Bilal El Khannouss.

Haiti regained the lead four minutes later with a superb strike from Isidor.
Morocco levelled again in first‑half stoppage time when Ismael Saibari scored after a pass from Hakimi.
In the second half, Soufiane Rahimi and Yassine Gessime each found the net, sealing a crucial victory for the North Africans.
Hakimi Thumbs Up Haiti
Hakimi said Haiti had made the match challenging for his side throughout.
“It was a tricky game, a difficult one. We didn’t start well, but we changed our mindset and worked hard to get ourselves back into it. We managed to win thanks to the way we attacked,” Hakimi told FIFA.com.
“At half‑time, the message was to stay focused on winning the second balls. We couldn’t let them grow in confidence. We’re proud of what we did, but now we need to recover well and get ourselves ready for what’s next.”
