Guardiola Confirms Player Is Leaving Manchester City

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has officially announced that he will be leaving the Premier League club.

The Spaniard made the statement on Friday.

“And what a time we have had together,” Guardiola said. “Don’t ask me the reasons I’m leaving. There is no reason, but deep inside, I know it’s my time.”

Guardiola will depart the Etihad Stadium after a decade, even though he still has one year remaining on his current contract.

The 55‑year‑old secured a cup double in his final campaign, but he missed out on the Premier League title after City’s 1‑1 draw at Bournemouth.

During his ten years at City, he won 20 trophies, including six Premier League titles and a Champions League trophy.
