Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has addressed speculation about his future with the club.

The Spaniard has been the subject of reports that he might leave the Etihad Stadium after the current season.

Guardiola’s contract expires at the end of the 2026/27 campaign, giving him one year remaining on his deal.

During the pre‑match press conference before Manchester City’s FA Cup final against Chelsea on Saturday, he was asked whether he could step down at season’s end.

The 55‑year‑old replied: “No way. I have one more year [on my] contract.”

When queried about the extent of his success, Guardiola said: “Yeah, of course, 19 titles in 10 years is not bad.”
