German referee Siebert to officiate the Arsenal vs. PSG Champions League final

UEFA has appointed German referee Daniel Siebert to oversee the Champions League final between Paris Saint‑Germain and Arsenal, which will be played in Budapest on 30 May.

This assignment is Siebert’s first appearance as the referee for a UEFA club competition final, after serving as an international official since 2015.

The 42‑year‑old has already managed nine Champions League matches this season, including Arsenal’s quarter‑final against Sporting CP, Arsenal’s semi‑final versus Atlético Madrid, and PSG’s quarter‑final tie with Liverpool.

His résumé also includes officiating at Euro 2020 and Euro 2024, demonstrating his experience at the highest level.

Siebert will be assisted by fellow German officials Jan Seidel and Rafael Foltyn at the Puskás Aréna.

In addition, the VAR team will be led by Bastian Dankert, providing a refereeing crew of the highest trust for a match expected to be intensely contested in Hungary.
