In the latest Super Eagles news, Galatasaray is reportedly targeting two Nigerian stars, Ademola Lookman and Raphael Onyedika, according to Afrik‑Foot.

The Cimbom are looking to strengthen their squad this summer. After dominating the Turkish top flight for the last four seasons, they aim to keep that level while improving their European performances.

The signing of Victor Osimhen from Napoli has raised the club’s profile and the overall standard of the Süper Lig.

Consequently, the club has been linked to several players over the past months, many of whom are Nigerian.

The most recent names to surface are Raphael Onyedika and Ademola Lookman. Both are among the biggest Super Eagles stars in Europe, and securing either would be a significant coup for Galatasaray.

According to A Spor, Galatasaray is interested in both players, but the task will be challenging.

Onyedika is the more likely prospect, as he has one year remaining on his contract with Club Brugge and appears reluctant to extend amid interest from other clubs.

If Galatasaray presents a lucrative offer, he may consider the move. The situation with Ademola Lookman, however, is far more complicated.

Lookman joined Atlético Madrid in January and is currently in excellent form, making a departure unlikely.

Moreover, Atlético only recently signed him from Atalanta, and given his performances and the length of his contract, the club is probably unwilling to sell.

Both potential deals are difficult, and it will be interesting to see how Galatasaray navigates the situation.
