Wilfred Ndidi described the Super Eagles as the dominant side in their 2‑2 draw with Poland in Wednesday’s international friendly in Warsaw.
The Nigerian side were only a few seconds away from securing a win before conceding a late goal.
Terem Moffi gave the Super Eagles a 23‑minute lead when he finished off a cross from Moses Simon, but Poland equalised in the first minute of first‑half stoppage time.
With 13 minutes remaining, Paul Onuachu made it 2‑1 after converting a penalty awarded for a Polish handball inside the box.
However, with seconds left Poland levelled the score thanks to a brilliant long‑range strike from Przemyslaw Wisniewski.

This is the second meeting between the Super Eagles and Poland; the first tie ended in a 1‑0 win for Nigeria in a friendly in 2018.
Speaking after the game, Ndidi said: “It was a good game, a brilliant game. We dominated the game, our first half was amazing. In the second half we tried to sit back a bit just to defend a little bit and them press. But entirely it was a good game.”
“We always try as much as possible to get a win in every game with our philosophy, with the vision and most importantly to give a good game try to be at our best and try to see if we could win the game.”
Up next for the Super Eagles is another friendly against World Cup‑bound Portugal on June 10.
