Four injured after alleged NDLEA shooting in Kano.

Four people were injured in Kano after NDLEA officers are alleged to have opened fire near the market and along the Murtala Muhammad Hospital axis.

Eyewitnesses say the victims include one man and three women, among them a young girl and a married woman.

Local reports state the injured were taken to the emergency unit of Murtala Muhammad Specialist Hospital, where doctors are removing bullets and stabilising their conditions.

Some accounts suggest the victims were not involved in any confrontation and were simply pedestrians or residents seated outside their homes when the shooting occurred.

Authorities have not yet released an official statement explaining the incident.
