Former Spurs managers Postecoglou, Frank land World Cup jobs

Ange Postecoglou and Thomas Frank, both former managers of Tottenham Hotspur, have been appointed television pundits for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, each signing with competing British broadcasters.

Postecoglou will join ITV’s World Cup coverage, whereas Frank will serve as an analyst for the BBC’s broadcasts of the tournament in the United States.

BBC coverage is expected to feature Frank alongside Wayne Rooney, Alan Shearer, Joe Hart and Olivier Giroud.

On ITV, Postecoglou will appear with pundits such as Gary Neville, Roy Keane, Ian Wright and Andros Townsend.

Managers return after difficult exits

Since his departure from Tottenham in February, Frank has largely stayed out of the public eye following a disappointing tenure.

The ex‑Brentford manager spent eight months at Spurs, achieving 13 victories in 38 games.

Postecoglou’s own managerial spell was brief, ending just over a month after he left Nottingham Forest.

Supporters are expected to tune in to hear the two managers discuss recent developments in their coaching careers.
