Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State announced a minor cabinet reshuffle, appointing Leader Leneke as the new Commissioner for Information.
The reshuffle involved a swap of portfolios: Sali Idris moved from the Ministry of Livestock to the Ministry of Agriculture, while Professor David Jatau took over the Ministry of Livestock from the Agriculture ministry.
Muhammad Chubado, who previously served as Commissioner for Energy Development, has been reassigned to the role of Commissioner for Health and Human Services.
Until Professor Jatau returns from sick leave, the current Commissioner for Special Duties, Usman Lamurde, will temporarily oversee the Ministry of Livestock.
Chief Press Secretary Humwashi Wonosikou, who announced the changes on Wednesday evening, said Leader Leneke was chosen to lead the Ministry of Information and Strategy after James Iliya resigned to pursue a nomination for the Demsa House of Assembly seat.
