Fintiri Names Boss Mustapha Adamawa as Representative on Northern Security Board

Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State has confirmed that former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, will serve as the state's delegate on the Board of Trustees of the Northern Nigeria Security Trust Fund.

The appointment, effective immediately, was announced yesterday by Governor Fintiri’s Chief Press Secretary, Humwashi Wonosikou.

Fintiri explained that the move reflects his administration’s dedication to bolstering the region’s security framework and guaranteeing that Adamawa State has a strong voice in decisions designed to protect lives and property throughout Northern Nigeria.

He added that the Northern Nigeria Security Trust Fund, set up by the Northern Governors’ Forum, is a sub‑national effort intended to support security agencies in tackling the region’s escalating security challenges.

The Fund aims to facilitate intelligence coordination, supply operational logistics, strengthen inter‑state cooperation, and foster community‑based security projects throughout the 19 northern states.

Fintiri described Boss Mustapha as an experienced public servant whose extensive background and leadership skills make him an ideal fit for the position.

He added, “His extensive public‑service experience, proven leadership, and national prominence render Boss Mustapha exceptionally qualified to represent Adamawa State’s interests on this critical Board.”
