Emmanuel Fernandez has said he is not considering a move away from Scottish Premiership giants Rangers, Completesports.com reports.
Fernandez arrived Ibrox from English League One club Peterborough United for £3.5million last summer.
The 24-year-old quickly established himself as a key figure in the Rangers squad and was voted the club’s Player of the Season.
The Nigeria international was also included in the Scottish Premiership Team of the Season.
Fernandez Speaks On Rangers Future
Fernandez has been linked with Borussia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen, among others.
The centre-back is however not in a rush to leave Rangers for another club.
“I just focus on what’s going on here. If you asked me this question a year ago, it would have been the same answer,” Fernandez was quoted by the Scottish Sun.
I’ve got four years left here and I want to enjoy it. I want to win.
“I don’t think my personality will ever change. My personality is me.

“Love and acknowledgement is a great thing and it makes you feel a bit better about yourself. But I feel there are more improvements to be made.
“Right now, I’m not the finished product. There’s still more of the story to go on.”
Happy To Learn Under McInnes
Fernandez is looking forward to working under new manager Derek McInnes.
“I’m excited to work with the new manager. It’s been good working with him so far,” added Fernandez.
“I was not on the pitch at the beginning so I missed a few sessions.
“But as I’ve now returned to the pitch it’s been good. He’s trying to bring togetherness to the team. With hard work I feel like we’ve got a season to look forward to.
“We’ve had good talks so far and he showed me things that I need to improve on. It was mainly just box defending, being able to suss out the danger and deal with the threat.
“He told me a few things that I understand and I know what I need to improve on and also how I can support the team going forward.
“I feel like the stuff that he said is stuff that I knew I needed to work on. During the off-season, I wanted to work on it, but I didn’t really get much time due to internationals.
‘But that’s why you have pre-season and where you can improve on those things.”
