On Tuesday, the Federal Capital Territory Minister, Nyesom Wike, stated that he would continue to execute his responsibilities as directed by President Bola Tinubu, regardless of political considerations.

He assured that the landscape of Abuja would be transformed before President Tinubu is sworn in for a second term.

Wike spoke on the tenth day of project commissioning across the FCT, marking President Tinubu’s third anniversary in office.

President Tinubu was represented by APC National Chairman Nentawe Yilwatda at the flag‑off ceremony for the construction of service carriageways on the Southern Parkway, from Arterial Road S20 (Oladipo Diya Way) to Ring Road II.

He said, “Today is our 10th day of commissioning of projects and today was specifically selected because so many people have been asking questions, ‘are you saying that after commissioning of these projects, now that we are going into politics, there will be no more projects to embark upon? We say no, politics or no politics, we must continue to do that which Mr President has directed, to make sure that we change the entire landscape of the Federal Capital Territory. Let me say clearly say that by the time Mr President finishes his first tenure on May 29, 2027 and before he will be sworn in as president in his second tenure, the landscape of Abuja will entirely change to the glory of God.”
