Europa League: All award winners after Aston Villa triumph

The UEFA Technical Observer Group announced on Thursday that Aston Villa midfielder Morgan Rogers would receive the 2025/26 UEFA Europa League Player of the Season award.

The decision came after the competition concluded the previous night in Turkey, where Aston Villa defeated Freiburg 3‑0 to claim the title.

In addition to Rogers, several other players were honoured with individual accolades.

Freiburg’s Johan Manzambi was awarded the UEFA Europa League Revelation of the Season for his impressive performances throughout the campaign.

Aston Villa’s Emiliano Buendía earned the Hankook Player of the Match title after scoring one goal and providing an assist in the final.

Igor Jesus of Nottingham Forest and Petar Stanić of Ludogorets shared the top scorer award for the Europa League, each finishing the season with seven goals.
