EPL: What will happen to Arsenal if Man City beat Bournemouth – Carragher

Liverpool legend, Jamie Carragher, has claimed Arsenal will become nervous if Manchester City win at Bournemouth on Wednesday night.

Carragher was speaking on Monday Night Football after the Gunners beat Burnley 1-0.

The victory took Mikel Arteta’s men up to 82 points, five more than City.

If Pep Guardiola’s men fail to win at the Vitality Stadium, Arsenal will be confirmed champions.

But Carragher has explained what could happen if City take all three points.

He said: “The nerves will really kick in for Arsenal this week if Man City win tomorrow. You saw tonight – it was a little bit edgy.

“It might do them a little bit of good being away from home. You can feel the tension in the stadium.”
