EPL: Silva says Man City could have won the league, blaming two key factors.

Manchester City star Bernardo Silva has highlighted two main reasons why his team fell short of the Premier League title this season.

The Portuguese midfielder said that City would have secured the championship if the club had not been in a transitional phase and if they had avoided the numerous errors that cost them points.

"I do believe our main rivals were Liverpool by far," Silva told The Athletic. "I know if we were not in a transitional season and if we didn’t make so many mistakes, we would have won this league. I don’t say we would have won easily, but we would have won this league. So it’s quite frustrating."

At present, Manchester City sit two points behind Arsenal in the Premier League standings, with only two matches left to finish the campaign.
