EPL: Owen Says Man United Should Give Player Another Chance After He’s Doing Well Now

Former Manchester United striker Michael Owen has called on his former club to give Denmark international Rasmus Hojlund another opportunity.

Owen believes the 23‑year‑old could thrive under manager Michael Carrick at United.

Hojlund is currently on loan at Serie A side Napoli after a difficult second season at United, having joined the Premier League club from Atalanta in 2024.

"I’d love to see Hojlund back at Manchester United and see what he can do now," Owen said to Premier League Productions.

"He played in a Manchester United team that was broken and did not have any links, and played poorly. Who’s to say he is not really good? He is doing really well in Italy now."
