EPL: Arteta responds to news that Guardiola may leave Man City

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta said he will comment on Pep Guardiola’s departure from Manchester City once the announcement is official.

On Monday night, several English outlets reported that Guardiola has decided to leave City at the end of the current season.

The 55‑year‑old will play his final match on Sunday in the Premier League against Aston Villa at home.

Before that, City will travel to Bournemouth, needing a win to keep their title hopes alive until the last day. This comes after Arsenal’s 1‑0 victory over Burnley at the Emirates on Monday.

The FA Cup win over the weekend brought Guardiola’s trophy count to 20 since arriving in England.

“Once he makes that decision then we can talk about it. Before that, nobody should do it,” Arteta told Sky Sports.
