EPL: Arsenal’s win over Burnley will hurt Man City – Vieira

Former France midfielder Patrick Vieira said that Arsenal’s 1‑0 victory over Burnley on Monday night will “hurt” Manchester City.

The goal came when Kai Havertz headed in a cross from Bukayo Saka’s corner in the first half.

With the win, the Gunners are now five points ahead of City.

City head to Bournemouth on Wednesday night, and if they fail to win at the Vitality Stadium, Arsenal will secure the title.

“That result can hurt Man City,” Vieira told Sky Sports. “They will go into the game tomorrow a little disappointed after the Arsenal result tonight.”
