During the House of Representatives primary election for Epe Federal Constituency, aspirant BIA Eruobodo challenged the collation officials over alleged irregularities in Ward M1.

According to reports from the collation centre, Eruobodo lodged objections and protested what he described as irregularities and questionable actions that he said undermined the credibility of the voting process in that ward.

The protest caused tension among supporters and party stakeholders present at the venue while electoral officials reviewed the complaints and reports concerning the conduct of the exercise in Ward M1.

After the complaints were considered and deliberations carried out by party officials, the election process in the ward was ultimately cancelled pending further directives from the party leadership.

Party stakeholders and security personnel later intervened to calm the situation and urged supporters of all aspirants to remain peaceful while allowing due process to take its course.

The incident became one of the major developments that shaped discussions during the primary election across the constituency.
