emPLE Insurance pays more than N7 billion in claims

emPLE Insurance Nigeria reported that it settled more than N7 billion in claims during 2025, helping to offset losses experienced by its individual, family and business customers.

The underwriting firm reiterated its dedication to providing the financial assistance required for clients to recover from the uncertainties that affect personal and commercial life.

In the context of shifting industry dynamics and the regulatory framework introduced by the new Insurance Industry Reform Act (NIIRA 2025), emPLE highlighted its resilience and operational strength while serving policyholders across both its Life and General Insurance divisions. Commenting on the company’s performance, Olalekan Oyinlade, General Insurance Managing Director, said, “Insurance, at its core, is a promise, a sacred obligation to provide support in times of adversity, and in 2025, we honoured that promise.”
