AEDC listed the Bolingo Hotel, Wada Maida Building (home to the headquarters of the News Agency of Nigeria), and the embassies of Sudan, Egypt, and the European Union, as well as the Envoy Hotel, among the affected sites.

Other locations that lost power include the National Planning Commission, the National Hospital, and the Turkish, Pakistani, and Indian embassies.

“Garki Areas One, Two, Three, Seven, and Eight; Garki Village; Garki Market; Ubiaja Street; Kaltungo Street; and Lagos Street have also been affected,” the company said.

Additional outages were reported on Oka Akoko Street, Treasury House, Karibu Hotel, and parts of Asokoro such as Yakubu Gowon Street.

“Imo Government Lodges, Gado Nasko Street, Justice Sowemimo, Hassan Musa Katsina Streets, parts of Jasse Martin, NIA, and TY Danjuma Street are also without power,” AEDC added.
