Ekiti Guber: Uba Sani accepts key APC role, vows landslide victory for Oyebanji

Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has accepted the post of Chairman of the National Campaign Council for the upcoming Ekiti State governorship election.

The announcement came after the council was inaugurated by the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Chairman, Professor Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda.

In his statement, Sani said the council will collaborate with party leaders, stakeholders and supporters throughout Ekiti to build momentum for the re‑election of Governor Biodun Oyebanji.

He expressed confidence in a victory, pointing to Oyebanji’s track record and the backing he enjoys within the party.

“Our shared goal is to orchestrate a successful campaign that culminates in a resounding victory for Governor Biodun Oyebanji,” Sani said.

The governor noted that the party has already set up structures in all 16 local government areas and 177 wards across the state in preparation for the election.

He added that the participation of youths, women and other stakeholders will be crucial to the campaign effort.

“We have laid a robust foundation, with strong grassroots structures established across all 16 Local Government Areas and 177 wards,” he said.

Sani also thanked President Bola Tinubu for his leadership and support of the APC’s growth.

“I extend my heartfelt gratitude to His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for his visionary leadership and steadfast commitment to national development,” he stated.

He further expressed appreciation to the APC leadership for their confidence in him and pledged to work with the campaign council to secure a party victory in the election.
