New Real Madrid signing Marc Cucurella has pledged that if Spain wins the World Cup 2026, he will get a tattoo of manager Luis de la Fuente’s face on his body.

Cucurella made the bold vow leading up to the final against Argentina on Sunday.

His promise reflects the team’s incredible unity and his admiration for the coach, similar to his famous promise to dye his hair red if they won Euro 2024.

“If we win the World Cup, I’ll call Luis the next day and tell him not to count on me anymore, that I’m retiring from the national team,” he said.

“With a European Championship and a World Cup, I can’t do any better.”

“I would get a little tattoo of Spain manager Luis de la Fuente’s face on my bicep if we were to win the World Cup.”

Meanwhile La Roja looked comfortable against Portugal and France, only needing a late strike against Belgium.

Should the ex-Chelsea man have to get the tattoo, he will have to decide where’s best to get his manager inked on him.

Strangely though, Cucurella will be somewhat pleased to have De La Fuente tattooed on him if Spain win the World Cup, at least it’s nothing to do with Barcelona, as he had previously said: “I prefer being bald than having a tattoo of the Barcelona badge.”
