Cubana Chief Priest Loses APC Representative Ticket Bid in Imo State

Cubana Chief Priest (Pascal Okechukwu) was defeated in the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary for the House of Representatives seat representing the Orsu/Orlu/Oru East federal constituency, ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The incumbent, Canice More Nwachukwu, who is serving his second term, secured the party’s nomination.

Chief Priest has been a vocal supporter of the current administration and the APC. He also holds the position of Imo State director of the City Boy Movement (CBM), a youth‑focused support group backing President Tinubu’s re‑election.
