Crystal Palace earns no bonus from Eze’s transfer if Arsenal win the Premier League title.

The agreement that saw Eberechi Eze move from Crystal Palace to Arsenal in the summer contains no bonus clause that would pay Palace extra money if the Gunners win the league.

Football.london confirmed this, dispelling online rumours.

Many fans posted on social media about the possibility that Palace could receive up to £10 million in bonuses if Arsenal won the league at Selhurst Park on Sunday, May 24.

However, such a clause does not exist.

Eze joined Arsenal in August 2025 for a fee of £67.5 million. Of that sum, only £7.5 million is earmarked as add‑ons, tied to various conditions that do not involve winning the domestic title.

Palace regarded these add‑ons as largely achievable when the deal was struck. Eze had originally had a release clause of £67.5 million, but it expired before Tottenham and Arsenal increased their interest in the England international.

Arsenal’s swift move and willingness to match the former release clause value ultimately won the transfer away from Spurs. Eze’s personal preference for the club he supported as a child, where he had played in their youth system before being released at 13, also influenced his choice.
