 Court puts Blessing CEO’s bail application on hold

Justice D.I. Dipeolu of the Federal High Court in Ikoyi, Lagos, on Friday reserved a ruling on the bail application filed by social media influencer and relationship therapist, Okoro Blessing Nkiruka, popularly known as Blessing CEO.

The ruling will be delivered on 9 June 2026.

This was disclosed in a statement shared on the EFCC X page on Friday.

Blessing CEO is standing trial on a two‑count charge filed by the Lagos Zonal Directorate 1 of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), alleging that he obtained and stole N36 million by false pretence.

The case was heard on Friday as the court considered arguments on the bail application before deciding to adjourn the ruling to a later date.

The EFCC said the charges stem from allegations involving financial misconduct amounting to N36 million.

Further proceedings in the matter are expected to continue after the court delivers its ruling on the bail application next week.
