The Federal High Court in Abuja has granted bail to Justice Chidiebere, who is better known as “Justice Crack.”
On Monday, the Federal Government formally filed a case against the blogger before the court.
Justice Joyce Abdulmalik approved bail in the amount of N5 million and required a surety of the same sum for Justice Crack.
The prosecution is led by the Department of State Services (DSS) and alleges that he committed cyber‑crime offences related to a viral video involving the Nigerian Army.
A hearing on the bail application was delayed last Thursday because two lawyers claimed exclusive representation of Justice Crack.
After the Federal Government presented its case and called its first witness, Uruntu Douglas, an operative of the DSS, Justice Abdulmalik granted bail on Monday.
