Club Brugge are demanding €10 million for Super Eagles midfielder Raphael Onyedika, Completesports.com reports.

Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt submitted an offer for the Nigerian international last week, but the bid fell short of Club Brugge’s valuation.

Despite the initial setback, negotiations between both clubs are ongoing, with hopes of reaching an agreement in the coming days.

Onyedika, 25, has just one year remaining on his contract with the Belgian champions.

According to Belgian outlet Het Nieuwsblad, Club Brugge have made several attempts to extend the midfielder’s deal, but he has declined to commit his future to the club.

The former FC Midtjylland player is keen to leave this summer in search of a new challenge.

As a result, Club Brugge are under pressure to sell Onyedika during the current transfer window rather than risk losing him on a free transfer when his contract expires next year.

The Belgian giants previously turned down a €15 million bid from Bundesliga side Wolfsburg for the midfielder last summer, but are now prepared to sanction his departure for a significantly lower fee due to his contract situation.
