Chelsea sign Osagie in new deal

Chelsea announced on Monday that Academy defender Justin Osagie has signed a new contract with the club.

The new deal will keep Osagie at the Premier League West London club until 2029.

Osagie joined Chelsea during the opening months of the 2025/26 season.

He has quickly established himself as an important part of the club’s Under‑21 squad.

The 20‑year‑old centre‑back made 11 appearances across all competitions in his debut campaign for Chelsea.

He is an Irish‑Nigerian defender, meaning he is eligible to play for Nigeria’s senior national team as well as the Irish national team.
