Chelsea wasted no time poking fun at Arsenal after the Gunners lost the Champions League final, The Standard reports.

Gabriel and Eberechi Eze both missed penalties in the shoot‑out in Budapest, after the match ended 0‑0 after 120 minutes and could not be separated.

Arsenal’s defender, arguably the best player for his side that night, stepped up to take a spot kick and had to score, but the ball flew over the bar into the PSG fans celebrating behind the goal.

The abrupt end to a tense game between two of Europe’s top clubs saw Chelsea quickly seize the moment.

Minutes after the match, Chelsea posted on X a promotion for a stadium tour, featuring their Champions League trophy front and centre in the image.

“Come and visit London’s Home of Trophies. Book your Stadium Tour at Stamford Bridge now,” the post read.

Chelsea remain the only London club to have won a Champions League trophy.

Kai Havertz, who scored the opener in Budapest on Saturday night, also scored Chelsea’s only goal in the 2021 final when they beat Manchester City.

That was Chelsea’s second Champions League final, having previously beaten Bayern Munich in 2012.

The club is the only team to have won every European trophy, and added the Club World Cup trophy when the tournament was expanded last summer.
