Champions League final: PSG players promised €1 million each to defeat Arsenal

Each Paris Saint‑Germain player will receive €1 million if the club wins the Champions League, mirroring the bonus structure from last season.

The Ligue 1 champions will face Arsenal in Saturday’s final in Budapest.

Coach Luis Enrique’s side has been given a financial incentive to defend the trophy they captured the previous year.

Captain Marquinhos, Achraf Hakimi, Ousmane Dembélé and Vitinha are reported to have negotiated these bonuses with the club’s management.

Speaking before the match, Enrique said: “We’ve shown in these eight matches what team we are; we’ve dominated the majority of them. Today we’re reaching the final again, and it’s historic for us. We want to continue making history in Europe—that’s our goal, it’s clear.”
