Celtic clinched the 2025/26 Scottish Premiership title after a 3‑1 comeback win over Hearts at Paradise Stadium on Saturday, with Super Eagles striker Kelechi Iheanacho playing a key role.

The victory gave Celtic their 56th league championship, after overturning a deficit in front of the home crowd.

Hearts took the lead when Michael Steinwender scored in the 38th minute, but Arne Engels restored parity from the spot just before half‑time.

After the break, Daizen Maeda and Callum Osmand added two more goals, securing the win for Martin O’Neill’s side.

Iheanacho was subbed in for Sebastian Tounekti at half‑time, helping the Hoops secure the title.

The 29‑year‑old has netted eight goals in 23 matches across all competitions this season.

Celtic topped the table with 82 points, finishing two points clear of Hearts.
