Bruno Fernandes Sets New EPL Assists Record, Surpassing Henry and De Bruyne

Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes has become the Premier League’s all‑time leader in assists for a single season.

The record was sealed when the Red Devils beat Brighton 3‑0 on the final day of the campaign.

Fernandes delivered a corner that was powerfully headed in by Patrick Dorgu to open the scoring.

It was his 21st assist of the season, surpassing the previous mark of 20 set by Thierry Henry for Arsenal in 2002/03 and Kevin De Bruyne for Manchester City in 2019/20.

Fernandes had matched Henry and De Bruyne earlier in the season when he set up Bryan Mbeumo’s goal in a 3‑1 win over Nottingham Forest.

He was named Premier League Player of the Season on Saturday, following his FWA Footballer of the Year award.
