The package consists of an €18 million fee plus €2 million in add-ons, though the transfer is not yet complete as personal terms and wages are still being finalised.

Trossard has one year remaining on his Arsenal contract. He has been a consistent and versatile member of Mikel Arteta’s squad since joining from Brighton in January 2023 for £27 million.

In total, he has made 174 appearances for the club, scoring 36 goals and providing 34 assists.

The 31-year-old played a key role in Arsenal’s 2025-26 Premier League title success.

He featured 50 times across all competitions, contributing eight goals and 11 assists. One of his standout moments came with an 83rd-minute winner away at West Ham in May, which helped maintain Arsenal’s lead at the top of the table.

Trossard is currently at the World Cup with Belgium and has started all four of their matches so far.

He scored twice against New Zealand and provided an assist in the dramatic 3-2 comeback victory over Senegal in the last 32. The deal is expected to remain on hold until Belgium’s campaign concludes.
