Reality‑TV personality White Money has spoken publicly about the death of Alexx Ekubo, sharing the text of a conversation they had shortly before the actor’s passing.
Ekubo died at age 40 after battling cancer, a loss that has shocked fans and colleagues across the entertainment industry.

In an Instagram post, White Money said Ekubo’s death left him “extremely devastated” and posted a series of messages exchanged with the late actor.
The messages, dated 1 May 2025, show White Money checking on Ekubo’s health.
Alexx Ekubo Responds to White Money
In the exchange, Ekubo replied that he was feeling well and taking a short break.
He thanked White Money for the concern and asked about his friend’s condition as well.
“I’m good. Just taking time off. Thanks for checking in. Hope you are good too?” he wrote.
Alexx Ekubo’s Movie Career
Ekubo first gained public attention as the first runner‑up in the 2010 Mr. Nigeria pageant.
His film debut was a minor role in *Sinners in the House* (2005), but he achieved wider recognition after appearing in *Ladies Men* and *Weekend Getaway*.
Alex Ekubo was born on 10 April 1986 in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
Because of his father’s employment with British Petroleum and Africa Petroleum, he spent his childhood in several Nigerian cities, including Lagos, Kano and Katsina.
