BBNaija Reunion: Kola Says Love Has Taught Him to Relax

Former Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate Kola admitted that his romantic life has been less than fortunate.

Speaking before the reunion episode, which premiered Monday night, he described his love journey as “rough.”

He said that “love has shown me shege,” a Nigerian slang term meaning “to be disappointed.”

Despite the setbacks, Kola expressed gratitude for the love he has experienced.

“Love has shown me shege. The funny thing is that some people die without ever falling in love. So, the joy is that every time you fall in love, you should be happy that you are in love because not everyone gets to experience it,” he said.

Daily Post notes that during the show, Kola was known for repeatedly professing his affection for Dede, who never returned his feelings.

After the series ended, Dede stated that she would not have considered Kola even if she did not have a boyfriend outside of the show.

She explained that the Canada‑based businessman was not her ideal match.
