Bayern Munich’s honorary president, Uli Hoeness, has sent a message to José Mourinho regarding winger Michael Olise.
Mourinho is preparing for his upcoming role as Real Madrid’s new head coach and is reportedly looking to make significant changes to the club’s squad.
The Portuguese manager is said to want a star player to join the likes of Kylian Mbappé and Vinícius Júnior in Real Madrid’s attacking lineup.
Although Real Madrid have not been linked with a move for Olise this summer, rumours have grown after Mourinho was seen in Berlin watching the DFB Pokal final between Bayern Munich and VfB Stuttgart on Saturday night.
When asked about Mourinho’s visit to observe Olise, Hoeness insisted that the former Chelsea and Manchester United manager would not be able to secure the France international, even if he keeps a close eye on him.
“José Mourinho is in the stadium tonight to keep an eye on Michael Olise for Real Madrid? He can keep five eyes on him, he still won’t get him,” Hoeness said, as quoted by Fabrizio Romano.
