Bandit Leader Kachalla Receives Security Strategy Information and Prepares for More Attacks

Kachalla Maha, a well‑known terrorist leader, warned that he would increase attacks in parts of Katsina State and asserted that he has advance knowledge of security operations. The statements appear in an audio clip posted on Sunday by a verified X account belonging to Abdool Moh.

According to the recording, Maha said that further attacks would proceed unless his detained associates and the cattle seized from them were returned.

He maintained that he had repeatedly requested their release, but authorities had ignored him.

“You arrested my men, and I asked for their release. You refused. I promised that I would abduct many people, and I already have targets.”

“Security personnel keep killing our cows. The government does not want us to live in peace. What is the point of burning our houses. We have tried to reach agreements with people in the area, but it is not helping because the government is not listening to our complaints or to those trying to advise them.”

“I asked why my men and Aminu were arrested. Since they were not released, I don’t care if they send thousands of soldiers. I am not tired, and I will not stop until I leave this world,” he said.

The audio also contains threats of additional violence against local communities and security forces should his demands remain unmet.
