Millwall winger Femi Azeez has said that his primary goal is to lift the Africa Cup of Nations trophy with Nigeria, according to the DAILY POST.
The 24‑year‑old also expressed a desire to earn a place in the squad for the World Cup, should the opportunity arise.
Azeez made a memorable debut for the Super Eagles, netting twice against Zimbabwe’s Warriors in the Unity Cup semi‑final on Tuesday night.
After the match with Kaitano Tembo’s side, the former Reading winger outlined his objectives.
“I want to score more goals and provide assists as well. I also aim to create more chances for the team. I want to play at AFCON and win the competition. It would also be great to play at the World Cup with Nigeria,” Azeez said.
He hopes to add to his tally when the Super Eagles face Jamaica in the final on Sunday.
