Tobi Amusan, the world‑record holder, has added a third title to her collection at the 2026 African Senior Athletics Championship in Accra, Ghana, according to the DAILY POST.
The Nigerian sprinter won the women’s 100m hurdles on Wednesday night, reaffirming her position as one of Africa’s premier athletes.
Zimbabwe’s Ashley Miller finished second, while Nigeria’s Adaobi Tabugbo took the bronze medal.
Amusan expressed gratitude to her team and supporters, saying she remains committed to pursuing further success.
“African Champion x3. Beyond grateful to God, my team, supporters, and everyone who continues to believe in me through every season. Historic feeling. Still hungry for more. The mission continues,” she wrote on X.
The 29‑year‑old will now turn her focus to the Shanghai Golden League meeting in China this weekend.
