Artist says prelate's teachings helped his music career

Gospel artist Ozioma Nicholas, known professionally as Nich Oma, says that teachings from Christian preachers—particularly the ongoing counsel of Archbishop Onyeka Joseph Nzekwesi—have served as the foundation for her rapid ascent in the gospel music scene.

She notes that the archbishop’s ministerial, moral, spiritual, and paternal support and guidance have been instrumental in the impact she is making among Christians in Nigeria’s South‑Eastern region and beyond.

She addressed reporters about her newly released EP, “OMERIWO,” on Monday in Owerri, the capital of Imo State.

Nich Oma, a native of Enugu State, is a music minister, songwriter and worship leader whose sound blends Igbo and English.

Discussing the EP Omeriwo, she urged fans to anticipate a deeper connection with the Holy Spirit, promising that the release will elevate listeners to the height of praise and worship.
