Arteta told to keep Leandro Trossard, sell three other Arsenal players this summer

Former Arsenal player Emmanuel Petit has advised manager Mikel Arteta to retain Leandro Trossard beyond the current summer transfer window.

Petit also suggested that Arteta consider selling Gabriel Martinelli, Noni Madueke and Gabriel Jesus, adding that the club needs to bring in two wingers and a striker.

“I think it’s easy to know what Arsenal are missing, for me it is wingers,” Petit told talkSPORT when discussing the players who should leave the side.

“For me, the likes of Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Jesus. I don’t know about Viktor Gyokeres because he just came into the club.”

“Leandro Trossard, I would keep him. But Noni Madueke, for me, isn’t good enough, I’m sorry to say that, but he must do much more than that to improve.”
