Arteta Provides Arsenal Injury Updates Ahead of Palace and PSG Matches

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has released injury updates for his squad as the club heads into its final two matches of the season.

The Gunners will travel to Crystal Palace on Sunday, having already secured the Premier League title for the first time in 22 years.

They will then travel to Paris to face Paris Saint‑Germain in the Champions League final next weekend.

Arteta confirmed that Mikel Merino has returned to full training, while Jurrien Timber remains further behind in his rehabilitation.

He told reporters, “Mikel is going to start to train with the group tomorrow. Today was a light session. Jurrien, let’s hope he can do the same in the next few days. He’s a bit further behind than Mikel.”
