Arsenal no longer bottling the title, says Micah Richards.

Former Manchester City defender Micah Richards praised the mental toughness of Arsenal’s squad this season.

Richards made the comments on Sky Sports following City’s 3‑0 win over Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Wednesday night.

Antoine Semenyo and Omar Marmoush gave the hosts a two‑goal lead in the first half, before Savinho added a late third.

The result leaves Pep Guardiola’s men two points behind Arsenal with two games remaining in the league.

Richards said: “We constantly ask whether Arsenal have the leader to take them over the line.”

“They have shown they do, they are the favourites now and nobody can say they are bottling it anymore.”

“They weren’t playing well, but turned their fortunes against Fulham and then again against West Ham.”

“They lost here at Man City and maybe the Arsenal of last season would have had their confidence drained.”
