Arsenal coach Arteta names world’s best manager and team in EPL history

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has declared Pep Guardiola the best manager in the world.

He also praised Manchester City as the finest team in Premier League history.

Arteta made the comments in a post‑match interview after Arsenal beat Crystal Palace 2‑1 on the final day of the Premier League season.

“We had to raise our level because you have opposition who are constantly asking that question of you,” Arteta said. “In my opinion, we had the best team—Manchester City—in the history of this competition, pushing us. Pep, by far, is the best manager in the world.”

“To do it with those circumstances and in the manner we did it, it is all about the ‘we’ in this team. I loved every minute of it,” he added.
